But before talking about each of them, it is necessary to make a general review of the Volkswagen Transporter to really know what we have in hand. The big difference between Volkswagen T6 van and the rest of the variants that will follow us later the California, the Caravelle and the Multivan, is that the first one is oriented to a industrial use, to the transport of materials or any competition that a commercial vehicle must face. Instead, the rest are intended for the transport of people. Inside the Volkswagen T6 Transporter we find four variants, Van, Platform, Double Cabin and Kombi. All of them, as we say, oriented to a more industrial practice with two lengths and three possible heights.
Regarding the versions of the Transporter, the Van It has only three seats and can have the cargo area closed or glazed. In addition, as standard, it has a sliding door on the left side of the vehicle. The option Combo It has nine seats, being halfway between commercial use and passenger transport, but comfort is not one of the priorities. Although its orientation leaves us more in the business field to move people than in leisure, although this does not mean that it offers equipment to be used in our free time. It can accommodate up to nine people in three or four rows of seats depending on the chosen configuration. An option that joins the possibility of choosing a longer length. Of course, it only has one height.
In this game, the Caravelle would be below the Multivan for not having that refinement, although above the Transporter for quality and finishes. Offers two finishes, Trendline and Premium, the lowest being well equipped with elements such as the CD radio with a 5″ touch screen, the cornering front fog lights or the air conditioning. Above the Caravelles are the Volkswagen T6 Multivan, the most oriented to the transport of passengers by the amenities it offers its occupants. Its starting price is 37.008 euros and, in the words of the brand, it can be used both daily and to do motorhome work for leisure. It also offers an extensive list of equipment organized in four finishes, Trendline, Comfortline, Highline, Business.
The Volkswagen T6 Multivan admits only one body length and one height. The four levels of equipment mentioned in the previous lines are nourished by a multitude of accessories that seek to please any customer. Among the equipment that we can find in the catalog stand out the rear seats on rails that offer us the possibility of standing face to face or in a row, the drawers with which the seats are provided in their lower part or the door linings where we can place drink holders.
Volkswagen T6 California
Unlike previous versions, the client who chooses the Volkswagen T6 California look for a vehicle with which you can camp. Although this version has been the last to arrive, it is already marketed in our country from 40.900 euros. Some of the accessories that it has and that give it this adventurous personality are the swivel front seats, the removable table in the sliding door or the camping chairs that we find in the tailgate. In addition, the roof is adjustable and has two places to sleep at different heights.
This version of the Volkswagen T6 has three trim levels, Beach, Coast and Ocean. The first of them is the simplest in terms of camping accessories, although it can sleep five people and offers up to seven seats. The second finish has real estate in which to install a sink, refrigerator or gas burners. Of course, only five people can travel. Lastly, the California Ocean is the most equipped, as evidenced by its electro-hydraulic roof elevation system, auxiliary heating and more insulated windows.
