This is how the Tesla Model S is made

Tesla Model S

Thanks to the folks at Wired, we can enjoy an interesting video showing the manufacturing process of a Tesla Model S , one of the most popular electric cars on the market. The video was filmed at Tesla's factory in California (USA). This factory has 160 automated robots specializing in performing various functions.

In addition to the robots, the plant employs over 3.000 workers who are responsible for the daily manufacturing and production of the Tesla Model S. Currently, the California factory has a production rate of around 400 units per week , so the work is continuous. Production of this model began back in 2012 after Tesla acquired the California factory, which until then had belonged to Toyota.

Tesla Motors has invested a great deal of money and time to get to where it is today, being one of the leading brands in the sector related to electric cars and sustainable mobility.

Next year will be crucial for Tesla 's future . Elon Musk recently confirmed that the company is now profitable and generating revenue. Furthermore, the new Tesla Model X, another electric car, this time a crossover, is expected to arrive on the market by the end of next year. A time of change and internal revolution is upon us for Tesla.
