Beneath its skin lie secrets that make it a real threat.

Yes, the Triton Model H (which, despite using this commercial name, has nothing to do with Tesla) was created by the New Jersey-based company Triton Solar . Therefore, we are looking at a large electric SUV that offers very high performance and technical specifications typical of supercars.

Let's start with the dimensions of the Triton Model H. It measures 5,69 meters long , 2,06 meters wide, and 1,88 meters high, translating to space for 8 passengers and 5.660 liters of trunk space. These dimensions result in a very high final weight, reaching 3,5 tons. Even so, this figure doesn't hinder its breathtaking performance , as it accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2,9 seconds.
And you might be wondering, how does it do it? Simple: its electric powertrain with four motors delivers 1.000 hp . But there's more, as the Performance version will increase this figure to 1.500 hp. It's powered by two types of battery, one for each version. The first has a 150 kWh energy capacity and allows for a "theoretical" range of 805 kilometers.
In the second case, the battery capacity increases to 200 kWh . Therefore, it could easily exceed 1.000 kilometers, reaching 1.126 kilometers. For now, the American brand hasn't mentioned charging times or compatible charging networks. What they have said is that the glass solar roof can include photovoltaic cells of up to 700 watts to contribute energy to the vehicle.
Another surprise of the Triton Model H is its inclusion of the Pandora Box system . With it, in case of emergency, it can provide electrical power to a house. The brand intends to bring it to market soon and has already opened the order books . Its manufacture could take place in India to keep costs down. In short, it will offer eight seats, plenty of luxury, and high performance at a starting price of $140.
