A few minutes ago Toyota Spain has made official the opening of reservations for the new GR Yaris. This is the second model with GR, after the GR Supra. The concept is very different, but the destination is the same: give the maximum possible sensations. Its arrival on the market is scheduled for the beginning of 2021, although with a bit of luck it is still ahead of the last weeks of 2020.
A bomb in a segment that's on the wane
If you are a little petrolhead, you will already know the main characteristics of this sports utility vehicle, but just in case we are going to review them. The Toyota GR Yaris uses a 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine that develops 261 hp and 360 Nm of pair All this energy is sent to all four wheels through a system of all-wheel drive called GR Four. With Circuit Pack it is triggered, but it is almost essential
For the most demanding Toyota offers an optional package called Circuit pack. That package adds 18-inch forged wheels, track-set GR suspension, a Torsen differential for each axle, red calipers, and sticky Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
As in most things in this world that we fall in love with so much, the problem is the price. They are 32.900 euros, but if we want the most recommended Circuit Pack it goes to 37.900 euros.
