Toyota GR Day 2023, enjoying the sportiest Toyotas in Jarama

La third edition of the Toyota GR Day It was played last Saturday, November 4, in the Madrid Jarama Circuit. This is a highly anticipated event for customers and fans of the brand, as well as for many motor enthusiasts. Several hundred people gathered at the circuit, despite the fact that the weather was not the most suitable.

As always, Toyota organizes not only the use of the main court, but also other series of activities such as driving simulators, a timed slalom track and the possibility of doing a round of the always fun karting, among other things. We were there to enjoy it and get behind the wheel of the Toyota GR.

According to the brand, in total they were registered to roll 108 cars, of which 86 were models from the GR range and the remaining 22 were divided between GT86, Celica, MR2, AE86 and GR Sport. In addition, 1.300 spectators attended.

We were guests of the press, like many other media outlets. We were able to try the driving simulator, compete with some colleagues on the kart track, enjoy the parking lot full of sporty Toyota models from different eras and, of course, riding on the track.

For the latter we chose the GR Toyota Yaris y GR Supra. The track was delicate Well, it was cold and, also, a slight spark that didn't exactly generate much confidence. In any case, we take it easy to feel and enjoy the GR Yaris at the Jarama Circuit, demonstrating once again its character and enormous power of effectiveness.

Secondly we went up to the Toyota GR Supra. The slight spark practically turned into rain and more and more complications were seen. In this case we asked the monitor, an experienced and renowned national driver, to drive the car and make us enjoy it. It is always a pleasure to have someone with very good hands take you sideways with this 340 HP Japanese coupe.

Without a doubt, we are already looking forward to the fourth edition, since the organizers are increasingly outdoing themselves and the number of participants continues to increase.
