In this 88th edition of the Geneva Motor Show we have known the new generation Toyota Auris, compact model of the Japanese firm. As you know, it launches a renewed design and, what is more important, new mechanics and platform. At the moment, there is no particularly dynamic version, focused on high sportiness, but a Toyota Auris GRMN like this one proposed by the designer X-Tomi design I could paint very well. Do not you think?

Toyota has never had a sporty Auris in its first two generations. After the launch of the Toyota Yaris GRMN, which has established itself as the hottest sports utility vehicle on the market, albeit with a very limited production run that is already completely sold out, and the official presentation of the Toyota Supra at the Geneva Motor Show in the form of a concept for competition, with the name Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept,who among those present here would not want to see a Toyota Auris GRMN?

As we said at the beginning, the new Auris uses the platform used by the Prius and C-HR, known as TNGA. We've tested both models using this Toyota platform, and in both cases we've felt it's a great chassis to create a sporty base; because the behavior in curves of Prius and C-HR allows a very high step. On the other hand, the new Auris debuts a 180 hp hybrid mechanics, which uses a 2.0-liter thermal engine.
