Škoda has launched a highly exclusive edition of its iconic Fabia , called the Škoda Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition by “Cohete” Suárez . Only 100 units of this special version will be available, exclusively in the Spanish market. This model is presented as a tribute to the titles that José Antonio “Cohete” Suárez has won in the Spanish Super Rally Championship (S-CER), both in 2021 and 2023, as well as the manufacturers' title that the Czech brand also achieved with this same driver.
The Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition is much more than just a version with cosmetic enhancements. Under the hood, we find a 1.5 TSI engine that has been revised by the prestigious tuning specialist, ABT Sportsline. This modification boosts the engine from the standard Fabia Monte Carlo's 150 hp to an incredible 190 hp , along with 290 Nm of torque . These figures make it one of the most powerful Fabias of its generation, ready to deliver exhilarating driving experiences.
This power increase isn't the only highlight of this edition. The car also features a sport suspension lowered by 15 mm , improving not only its aesthetics but also its road handling. It retains a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission that sends all the power to the front wheels, ensuring dynamic and precise driving.
This model is also visually striking thanks to its Mamba Green color , a shade usually reserved exclusively for Škoda's RS versions. With additional details like the 17-inch OZ Racing Superturismo WRC wheels , the Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition clearly demonstrates its connection to the world of rallying. The tires chosen for this model are Michelin Pilot Sport 5s , several of which have already been tested in competition.
In addition to the paint and wheels, the car features a matte black rear spoiler and matching fenders, emphasizing its sporty character. Numerous badges, such as the ABT logo and the Rally2 emblem, are also prominent, both inside and out. To complete the unique details, the car includes a laurel wreath on the rear pillar commemorating its victories in the S-CER.
Inside, this Fabia doesn't disappoint. The sport seats are upholstered in black, while the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel features Rally2 badges and paddle shifters for even sportier control. There's also a plaque with the edition number, signed by José Antonio Suárez himself, adding an extra touch of exclusivity.
For the first buyers, Škoda has prepared an extra surprise. Those who reserve their car through official dealerships or on the Škoda Spain website will be able to participate in a special event where they will have the opportunity to ride as co-drivers in the Fabia RS Rally2 competition car, with “Cohete” Suárez himself at the wheel.
The price of this exclusive edition is €30.900, just €2.000 more than the Fabia Monte Carlo, which boasts 150 hp. The first units will be delivered at the end of the first quarter of 2025, making this limited edition an accessible and exciting option for sports car enthusiasts and rally fans.
