SEAT introduces the special series Beats in the Ibiza and Arona ranges

Seat Arona Ibiza Beats

Seat is one of the brands that holds a near-monopoly in the Spanish market. Thanks to the popularity of its products, it has consistently been the best-selling brand for several years . However, this doesn't mean they're resting on their laurels; they keep their most sought-after models up-to-date. Therefore, they have launched the Beats special edition for two of their most popular models, the Ibiza and Arona.

The Seat Ibiza and Arona Beats engine range consists of one petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol option is the 1.0 TSI three-cylinder engine, producing 95 or 115 hp. The diesel option is the familiar 1.6 TDI four-cylinder engine, also with 95 or 115 hp. The Ibiza also offers an entry-level petrol engine: the well-known 1.0 MPI four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, which delivers 75 hp.

The design of the Seat Ibiza Beats , compared to its siblings in the range, remains unchanged. The main novelty in its appearance is the introduction of Eclipse Orange accents and decorative elements . These can be found on the side mirrors, fog lights, dashboard trim (around the infotainment system screen), seats, steering wheel stitching , and gearshift knob and trim.

The Seat Arona Beats is very similar to the Ibiza Beats , as its appearance remains unchanged from the other versions in its range. To give this model personality, in addition to using the same trim pieces in the same Eclipse Orange hue , the brand's designers have decided to include a roof in this contrasting color.

The rationale behind the Ibiza and Arona Beats is to attract a younger, tech-savvy audience to the Spanish brand's customer base. Therefore, the two main technological innovations included in both models are the addition of the Beats by Dr. Dre sound system and the configurable digital instrument cluster, already featured in many Volkswagen Group models, the Digital Cockpit.

The Beats by Dr. Dre sound system features an 8-channel , 300-watt amplifier that, thanks to a digital signal processor (DAB), delivers high-quality sound reception. In addition, the infotainment system includes a 6,5-inch screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink, Bluetooth, and a USB port.

The rest of the equipment in the Ibiza and Arona Beats is similar to that of the other versions in the range, including full LED headlights , special seats, automatic climate control, and illuminated door sills. However, Seat has not yet confirmed pricing or the exact launch date, only announcing that they will be available in the coming weeks.
