If we consult the Royal Spanish Academy Dictionary and look up the word "luxury," Rolls Royce should be the first entry. In case you didn't know, it's a word derived from Latin, and its primary definition means "abundance in adornment or in comforts and sumptuous objects." However, the fourth definition means "high category, excellence, or exquisiteness possessed by something due to the quality of the raw materials used in its manufacture, its high performance, or services."
Well, if there's one vehicle that embodies luxury better than any other, it's the Rolls Royce Boat Tail . Remember when we told you about it? And that only three were going to be made, and one of them, the first to be unveiled, could belong to Beyoncé . Well, now the second unit of this "holy trinity" of luxury is making its debut. Or rather, it will debut in a few days at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este …
The owner of this Rolls Royce Boat Tail is Italian and is dedicated to the world of pearls…

As you can see in the images, the design of the Rolls Royce Boat Tail remains unchanged from its sibling . However, the "wrap" that adorns it is entirely new. For this occasion, the brand's Bespoke division drew inspiration from the world of pearls . The reason for this influence is that the owner of this particular car and his entire family are involved in the pearl business. Furthermore, they provided raw materials for its development.
In fact, it's clear that the bodywork and much of the interior trim share this hue. According to Rolls-Royce, this is the most complex finish in their history , and the paint itself doesn't even have a name. If we were to look for a reason, it would seem to combine a pinkish hue with oyster flecks of white and bronze. The effect is pearlescent, contrasting with the cognac tone of the hood and the bronze and gold also seen on the bodywork.
As with the original Boat Tail, the rear section is finished in walnut veneer with rose gold stripes . The parasol and chairs for sunbathing, enjoying a picnic, or sipping champagne are also retained. Inside, the inspiration from shells and pearls continues, with accents in cognac, walnut, rose gold, and mother-of-pearl. In fact, the owner supplied Rolls-Royce with mother-of-pearl from his collection.
Whatever the case, anything that can be said about this second Boat Tail falls short . In fact, rumor has it that the first one cost around $28 million. So if this one is even more lavish, imagine how much they must have paid for it…
