The Porsche Taycan flies at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and breaks a record

Its about Porsche Taycan Turbo S, which has been able to cover 20,8 kilometers in just 7 minutes y 33 seconds with brand development driver Lars Kern. The Taycan was equipped with a new high performance street homologated kit.

This high performance kit includes 21-inch RS Spyder homologated road wheels and sports tires almost taken from competition Pirelli P Zero Corsa. Another item in this kit is a software update for Porsche 4D Chassis Control so that it works better with those wheels. This software analyzes and synchronizes all of the Taycan's chassis systems in real time.

The electric sedan came with the aforementioned performance kit and the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), that is, equipment that can be configured from the start. For safety, I mounted the competition seat and the necessary anti-roll bars. Its weight did not vary with respect to the model that came out of the dealership. A notary was present to verify the new record and the German certification body TÜV confirmed that the car used was strictly series.

For now it can only be purchased in Germany and only for the Taycan Turbo S sedan from model year 2023, which began production at the end of last July. Its price is 13.377 euros and the manufacturer's warranty for the Taycan remains unaffected.

Finally, let us remember that the Porsche Taycan Turbo S yields 625 hp (761 for a few seconds with the Launch Control function) and that its price for the Spanish market without added extras is 194.000 Euros.
