Opel updates its Astra range with a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option. Designed for those seeking efficiency without sacrificing solid performance. The improvement increases the usability of the electric mode on urban or everyday journeys without the need for daily recharging.
Consumption is also considerably reduced., achieving between 2,2 and 2,4 liters per 100 kilometers on the combined cycle and estimated CO50 emissions of 2 g/km. Driving 100% electric, energy consumption is between 12,7 and 13,1 kWh/100 km. These figures, compared to its predecessor, are significantly improved, and not only that. Thanks to the increased range, it now deserves the Zero Emissions label from the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT).
In the performance section, The Opel Astra PHEV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,6 seconds in its hatchback version and in 7,7 seconds in the Sports Tourer estate. The top speed is set at 225 km/h. This performance is complemented by a front-wheel drive configuration that prioritizes efficiency. In addition, the EMP2 V3 platform is maintained shared with other Stellantis Group models, such as the Peugeot 308The front suspension is McPherson strut, while the rear suspension is a torsion beam, a common solution in this segment.
