We recently showed you the first image of its concept car , and today Nissan has officially revealed what the Leaf Nismo will look like . This sporty version of its all-electric vehicle will make its debut in a few weeks at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Its sportier appearance, full of racing details, is expected to be accompanied by enhanced on-road capabilities.
Images of the Nissan Leaf Nismo already reveal many details of what the production version will look like. As seen in the first image, it will have a more aggressive aerodynamic body kit with a modified bumper and more prominent side skirts, along with a double rear diffuser with red accents and no exhaust pipe, and a larger black spoiler.

The new Nissan Leaf Nismo was developed by the brand's motorsports and tuning division. According to its representatives, they focused on improving its aerodynamic performance, stability, and engine output. The start button with its red border is a reminder to drivers that they are not behind the wheel of a standard version of the electric car. Its electronics have been revised to "deliver instant acceleration at any speed." The sport suspension and high-performance tires also contribute to its sporty character.
The images released by Nissan also offer a first look at the interior of the Leaf Nismo , which features numerous sporty enhancements.
