Large European cities are increasingly restricting the use of vehicles with traditional propellants in urban centers in order to reduce environmental pollution. However, it is difficult to eliminate them completely, because for certain tasks they are absolutely necessary.

The new Nissan e-NV200 was unveiled this morning in Oslo, Norway, promising to go further on a single charge; specifically 60%. The new battery incorporated into Nissan's electric van is 40 kWh, homologating a range up to 280 kilometers according to the NEDC cycle.
A very positive point is that, despite its greater autonomy, the total weight of the set has not increased and, also very important to take into account, neither the space it occupies said battery. For this reason, the cargo space of the Nissan e-NV200 is not altered, nor is its dynamic performance in terms of stability, acceleration or braking.
Although we do not yet know its sales prices or its arrival in our market, Nissan has declared that the first units of this electric van can be booked before the end of this year 2017. We should also note that the Nissan e-NV200 is produced in Spain since 2014, from where it is distributed to a total of 13 markets.
We hope that the various governments will begin to take these possibilities into account and help buy electric vehicles, as we believe that this may be a much more appropriate solution than simply banning the use of traditional vehicles.
