And to the entire universe surrounding it, which, we mustn't forget, is one of the most legendary and iconic in the industry. Sometimes there are editions where the brand itself "dusts off" older models, and other times where it focuses on the future. And the one it will be holding in the coming days, at least judging by the teasers it has released , seems to be the latter…
The Easter Jeep Safari of this year 2023 will have as a great central novelty the electrification of its range…
Before we tell you what Jeep might be up to, we should mention that this year's Easter Safari takes place from April 1st to 9th . Also, as a fun fact, in case you didn't know, this is the 57th edition. With the opening day approaching, they've decided to release a series of teaser images giving us a glimpse of what we can expect. And they all seem to have electrification as a central theme…
No matter which teaser we choose, they all, or almost all, share one characteristic element: Jeep blue . This is the color the brand has chosen to show the world that its models have some form of electrification. Just look at the pink-background teaser where they seem to be showing a Wrangler 4xe , or perhaps the final electric version. Its design lines appear very faithful to the one we already know, so we don't know what the new features might be.
We also can't ignore the fact that the Gladiator will receive a 4xe version in the coming months . And the brand might be waiting for the Easter Safari to unveil it to the world, albeit with more aggressive features. The teaser image that could be associated with this concept is the gray one sporting tubular doors. But since the rear section of the body isn't visible, we don't know if that image corresponds to another Wrangler.
In addition to the Gladiator, Jeep is also working on a Wagoneer 4xe , slated for release before the end of 2023. This modified version has its own teaser trailer, though the extent of the modifications remains unknown. Finally, there's another teaser featuring what appears to be a Wrangler or Gladiator, perhaps painted lime green , but its purpose is unclear.
However, April 1st is fast approaching… so finding out for sure is getting closer…
