We're gradually getting more information about the new generation Toyota Tundra . The pickup truck segment is booming, and the major manufacturers present in it don't want to lose ground to their rivals. Therefore, it's no surprise that Ford and General Motors are strengthening their respective lineups. Others, like the Japanese firm, are following their own path, either updating existing models or preparing new generations.
A few weeks ago, we witnessed something that, unfortunately for manufacturers, is becoming increasingly common. A "curious" leak spoiled the surprise, revealing the design of the new Toyota Tundra to the world . Seeing the situation, those in charge of the project didn't back down and decided to counterattack by publishing an official photo. Now, they're back with a video and several images that show some details of its interior.

If you take a look at the attached gallery, you'll see three key parts of the new Tundra. First, the engine cover (or covers) that will power it. Second, the lower part of the rearview mirror and the upper part of the new central screen for controlling the infotainment system. This clip lasts 16 seconds, but that's more than enough to learn some details about the interior. Not just the large, two-section sliding rear window, but also the materials covering the headrests , which appear to be premium leather. Add to that the meticulous attention to detail in the roof and the various lighting elements. And finally, it seems the rear window rolls down.
Whatever the case, this new version of the Toyota Tundra will be completely different from its predecessor . If those in charge of the project have put the same attention into the interior as they did into the exterior design, their rivals at Ford and General Motors should be worried. For now, all we know is that its official debut will take place at the end of next fall . But be prepared for more information to come.
