The new Dacia Duster accumulates 10.000 orders since September in Spain

Dacia Duster Extreme

There's no doubt that the Dacia Duster is a truly successful product globally. Its sales figures and positive customer reviews over the years attest to this, as it's an affordable vehicle with just the right amount of equipment. It's no frills, but you don't pay extra for them either.

As many of you know, the Romanian firm's compact SUV was updated at the end of last summer. Well, more accurately, it received a facelift , incorporating new headlights and taillights, tweaks to the wheel designs, and improvements to the seats and some controls inside.

But even though it hasn't changed much since the second generation launched in 2018, it remains a very popular product in our country . So much so that the brand itself has informed us that in the six months since the restyling was unveiled, it has accumulated no fewer than 10.000 orders. Yes, we're talking about the Spanish market, so that's a very, very high number.

Especially loved in rural areas

Dacia Duster 2022

From its first launch until 2022, the Dacia Duster has added no less than two million units sold worldwide, of which more than 125.000 have been marketed in Spain.

Dacia notes that Duster buyers have some unique characteristics when it comes to private sales. For example, many of them participate in sports or other outdoor activities , such as hiking or cycling. A significant number are also avid travelers.

Furthermore, it's a vehicle in high demand among those living outside major Spanish cities. Specifically, according to the study shared by the car manufacturer, almost half of its sales go to customers residing in rural areas, while another 30% live in smaller towns.

It goes without saying, as can be seen on the roads, that many fleets opt for this model when their work is partially carried out outside of rural areas. We can highlight public services such as Environmental Departments and private companies such as those operating in rural environments.
