In North America, the Chrysler Pacifica will have two engines, on the one hand a traditional V6 gasoline engine and on the other, a plug-in hybrid version. The gasoline model uses the engine 3.6 V6 Pentastar 287 hp of power associated with a new automatic gearbox nine speed.

The plug-in hybrid (Pacifica Hybrid) will use the same V6 engine but with 248 hp. Because the batteries are located in the floor, the Pacifica Hybrids aren't as practical as they don't have the Stow 'N Go seat-folding system.
