Although the automotive sector shines brightly on its own merits, it also enjoys associating with high-profile partners. One of the most successful has been the world of film . Indeed, cars appear in practically every movie in the world—one, two, three, or even thousands. Of course, they don't all play the same role, nor do they all have the same impact. Then we have examples where the protagonist is the driver…

And in some films, it boasts some truly impressive machines. One of the most iconic films, and one that has featured countless models, is James Bond . The 007 franchise is one of the most prolific, and it has showcased a vast array of models from brands like Ford, Aston Martin, Land Rover, and the Moke . Doesn't the latter ring a bell? Well, it should, because it has appeared in four films. Now, it's making a comeback to celebrate a very special milestone.

Moke celebrates that the James Bond saga turns 60 years old...

Did you know that James Bond and his alter ego 007 are celebrating their 60th anniversary? Well, they are, and to make sure no one forgets this fact, Moke has released a very special edition. It's the "60 Years of Bond Moke," and believe it or not, it's a reimagining of the model that appeared in the films You Only Live Twice (1967), Live and Let Die (1973), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), and Moonraker (1979). Hence its retro look, which remains unchanged.

For this occasion, Moke America collaborated with EON Productions . The car features a striking midnight blue exterior paint job adorned with vintage logos and badges commemorating Bond's 60th anniversary. Inside, a wooden steering wheel matches the dashboard trim and gearshift. The seats are upholstered in tan fabric, the same shade chosen for the headliner.

As expected, the Moke's powertrain is 100% electric . Its power output is currently unknown, but it will offer a range of only 64 kilometers. The top speed isn't exactly racing-ready, reaching a maximum of 40 kilometers per hour . In any case, it's surprising that the manufacturer has decided to sell it for £28.975 with a 160-day delivery time.

We don't know how many they are going to manufacture, but we don't think they are going to take them off their hands, right...?
