In response to the increasing hybridization trend in the world of supercars, the Austrian brand Milan Automotive has unveiled its first creation: the Red hypercar . This rear-wheel-drive vehicle derives its 1.343 hp solely from a 6.2-liter V8 engine with a quad-turbocharger.
The simple name of this model comes from the Red Kite , a bird of prey . This nickname alludes to the enormous dynamic capabilities promised by its creators. With a curb weight of only 1.300 kg, the Red will be able to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 2,47 seconds and a top speed exceeding 400 km/h.
In the league of the Chiron and the Regera

The Milan Red's performance figures place it in the hypercar segment , similar to the Bugatti Chiron , although it is somewhat less powerful and significantly lighter. The Chiron boasts 1.500 hp and weighs close to two tons. The Koenigsegg Regera offers similar power to the Chiron thanks to its three electric motors and weighs slightly less at 1.628 kg.
Fearing the competition
As Milan Automotive CEO Markus Fox described their new model: “Today, you can already drive an artistic car that is a high-tech monster, a throne on four wheels, or a car that serves only one purpose: to attract attention. […] This is where we come in.”
According to the company, the Milan Red has achieved this low weight figure thanks to being the first road car with a fork suspension made entirely of carbon fiber . This figure also brings it closer to radical cars like Mercedes' Project ONE or Aston Martin's Valkyrie.

The driver's heartbeat on the Milan Red screen
Despite its impressive figures, which are hardly surprising given the level of this type of car, the Milan Red will incorporate some particularly striking features . The engineers in charge of its development are exploring the possibility of displaying an image of the driver's heartbeat on one of the interior screens.
For now no further technical details of the car have been revealed, but they have already received 18 orders of the 99 that will be accepted for this model. The final price for the Milan Red is estimated to be around 2 million euros.
