These models mark the beginning of a firm commitment to electric vehicles and their new technologies, with a commercial launch planned for 2026. Initially, they will be available in North America, arriving later in Japan and Europe. The 0 Series is positioned as the beginning of a generation of high-tech electric cars with a unique design, with a total of seven models planned by 2030.
The Honda 0 Saloon is described as the flagship of this new series. With a coupe-like silhouette and a sporty design, this model combines dynamism and functionality thanks to a spacious interior, something uncommon in vehicles with such a stylized profile. The electrical architecture on which it is built is completely new, allowing for the implementation of futuristic features such as a level 3 autonomous driving system. This level of automation will allow drivers can enjoy secondary tasks, such as watching a movie or attending a virtual meeting, while the car takes over driving control in certain situations.
On the other hand, the Honda 0 SUV offers a more versatile design, designed for everyday use. This model is based on the Space-Hub concept car and is defined by its interior space and unobstructed vision. Equipped with advanced stabilization technologies, such as 3D gyroscopic sensors, it promises a dynamic and precise driving experience. Like the 0 Saloon, it uses Honda's new EV platform, providing robust and efficient technological integration.
The revolutionary ASIMO OS operating system
One of the big new features of the 0 Series is the introduction of the ASIMO OS operating system. Named after Honda's iconic humanoid robot, this system will control the electronic units of the vehicles, integrating functionalities such as autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance and infotainment. Thanks to over-the-air (OTA) updates, ASIMO OS ensures that cars can evolve over time, adapting to the needs and preferences of each user.

This system automatically adjusts certain elements of the vehicle, such as aerodynamic deflectors, to reduce air resistance and improve range. Added to this is steering-by-wire and an advanced suspension, which contribute to a sporty and precise driving experience.
Technical specifications and sustainability
Both models of the 0 Series feature electric motors integrated into a compact block that combines engine, inverter and transmission. This technical solution allows the vehicles to be more light and efficient, offering up to 480 km of autonomy according to American standards. In addition, Honda is committed to Sustainability, developing energy services such as advanced charging networks and home energy management systems to optimize the use of electric vehicles in daily life.
The company is also working on a high-performance chip together with Renesas Electronics to power future generations of the 0 Series. This chip is designed to manage multiple vehicle functions, from autonomous driving to interior comfort, efficiently and with low energy consumption.
