The craze for SUVs, off-road vehicles, and pickup trucks seems to have no end. Thanks to the arrival of electric vehicles in the automotive sector, brands are finding ways to offer new options. Added to this is the proliferation of new companies like mushrooms after autumn. One of the latest to appear is Hercules Electric Vehicles . It arrives directly from the USA with a very attractive proposition.
The Hercules Alfa wants a piece of the pie that the Rivian R1T, Tesla Cybertruck, and GMC Hummer EV SUV are about to carve out. To achieve this, it has copied their main technical attributes and wrapped them in a very attractive body. However, success is not guaranteed, as, like many startups, it still needs a lot of funding to reach production . In the meantime, we present it to you so you can judge for yourself.
The Hercules Alfa will arrive with 1.020 CV and almost 500 kilometers of autonomy

Aesthetically speaking, the Hercules Alfa has the typical proportions of a large pickup truck . However, it stands out for its front and rear design, which features extensive use of LED technology. This is distributed throughout the headlights, grille, and tailgate . In fact, it's the element that identifies this model, as it illuminates the central logo. LEDs also appear under the hood and in the daytime running lights on the bumper.
However, there are also elements in its design that are pleasing to the eye. Among the most notable are the shape of the bumpers, the wheel arches, and the alloy wheels . A new feature is a rigid, four-section folding tonneau cover for the cargo bed. While it might seem "simple" at first glance, it incorporates several high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panels that provide a charging capacity of 1kW.
Sketches of its interior have also been released , highlighting (at least visually) its high-quality finish. However, the truly interesting aspect of the Hercules Alfa lies beneath its surface. Specifically, the four electric motors that power it and, incidentally, provide all-wheel drive . Its final output is 750 kW (1.020 hp), allowing it to achieve a top speed of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4 seconds.
The battery's energy capacity hasn't been announced, although the theoretical range has . According to its creators, it will approach, but not quite reach, 500 kilometers . Another of the Alfa's "features" would be its "zero-radius" turning system, very similar to that of the Rivian R1T. However, the launch date for the Hercules Alfa is still undefined, but its developers claim that orders already exceed $34 million.
Will it manage to complete its remaining development phases? Will it be able to carve out a niche in the market? Who knows, but what is clear is that Americans love these types of vehicles and it seems their market has yet to reach its limit.
