Ferrari turns 70 stronger than ever

Ferrari 812 Superfast

be one of the most envied and coveted car brands over the years is something that few firms can boast of. On March 12, 1947, the first Ferrari came out from the small workshop that Enzo Ferrari had in the Italian city of Maranello. From that moment on, those who are passionate about the world of four wheels have dreamed of being able to drive or have one of their cars, since their aura of sportiness and exclusivity has not been surpassed by any other rival brand.

This first model It was neither more nor less than a Ferrari 125S and was moved by a gasoline engine in V12 configuration with 1.5 liters displacement and overhead camshaft. Its power was 120 hp and came from three double-body Weber carburettors. This mechanical configuration would be perpetuated for years in the models of the Italian house, since Enzo Ferrari preferred it over others.

From the first model assembled by Ferrari, the 125S, only two units were manufactured and sadly neither of them are among us. However, thanks to new technologies we have an exact copy of the first 125S, as Ferrari has manufactured it following the original plans. This model is currently in the brand's museum but the brand's communication managers have decided that it should make an appearance at the video they have made to celebrate the firm's 70th birthday.

To show the whole world that Ferrari is better than ever, the Italian house has decided to make a video that reviews its profuse history. "70 years of emotions" the title that the brand has given to this tribute video. The main actor of this production is the new LaFerrari Aperta and of course, the car that started this lineage, the 125S. Keep an eye on it because not all brands celebrate 70 years with the history behind the house of the Prancing Horse.

For another 70 years, at least. Congratulations!!!
