A new Dacia Duster of up to seven seats could arrive in 2017

Dacia Duster Black Shadow

The arrival of Dacia throughout Europe as a high-volume brand took place at the beginning of the new century. This brand of Romanian origin was seen by all as a very cheap car brand, with very low prices and also some products that were far from being able to fight with the general brands for their aesthetics as well as for their quality of finishes and the equipment that they could offer.

The economic crisis, along with some aesthetic improvements in Dacia vehicles, made this brand take a high importance in the “Old Continent” and in our country. We saw more and more Dacia Duster, Logan, Sandero and Lodgy on our roads, with the Sandero reaching the podium in terms of monthly sales figures on occasion. Now, the Dacia Duster needs a deep renovation and it seems that it will arrive with quite a few important changes in 2017.

As rumored by the network, the Dacia Duster could jump to another platform, the CMF (Common Module Family), which is responsible for developing models such as the Renault Kadjar. This means that Dacia's future SUV could be larger and, therefore, it would not be surprising that its cabin was capable of hold up to 7 occupants; although there is still nothing confirmed by the brand.

The generational change of the Dacia Duster has a relatively complicated role. The brand should not be tempted to significantly improve this product if for this reason they are also forced to raise their sale price quite a bit. In this way, Dacia will have to manage to improve your design and quality perception, using simply correct materials but that add greater value to this product that is giving so many sales to Dacia and its parent brand, Renault.
