BYD, the Chinese giant that is rising like foam, reaches 6 million plug-in vehicles

At the moment, BYD is present in 58 countries and regions, and has exceeded accumulated sales of 200.000 units of passenger vehicles, with important leadership in the plug-in vehicle market in Thailand and Brazil, among others.

In Spain they are still taking off, having started its journey very recently. The cars that BYD sells in our country are the Atto 3, Dolphin, Han, Seal and Tang. One aspect to highlight is that the BYD Seal has positioned itself as one of the great contenders for Car Of The Year 2024, being among the 7 finalists.

By the way, it is important to remember that BYD is a privately held technology multinational that owns more than 28.000 patents, especially in the manufacture of batteries, electric motors, electronic control systems and semiconductor chips. In fact, his staff is made up of more than 600.000 employees, among whom are some 90.000 engineers. They carry out their work in 30 industrial parks and 11 research centers.
