The first smart store is now a reality
One of Zunder's most recent projects is the incorporation of smart stores into its charging stations.
The first one is already operational in Vicálvaro (Madrid) and represents a further step towards the concept of a service area adapted to electric vehicles. It is a fully automated, 24-hour establishment where users can purchase drinks, fresh food, snacks, and other products commonly used during a trip, as well as items related to the care, cleaning, and maintenance of their car.
Access and the purchase process are completely autonomous via mobile phone, allowing users to make the most of their charging time without having to travel to other establishments. Their intention is to gradually extend this model to new stations in their network.
One app to charge virtually anywhere
Another key element of this evolution is the interoperability achieved through the Zunder app . With it, users can not only locate and use the operator's own network, but also access thousands of chargers from other providers across Europe. This eliminates the need to install multiple apps and create separate accounts for each network.
In addition, the company offers the eZCard , a card that allows you to start charging simply by holding it near the charger's reader, without needing to use your mobile phone for each session. The card also works at thousands of compatible charging points from other operators, further simplifying and speeding up the charging experience.
