El Shanghai Auto Show 2025 has once again placed itself among the most relevant events in the global automotive sector. A showcase in which the main manufacturers, both Chinese and international, have unveiled their more ambitious developments in an environment marked by technological innovation, electrification and advanced connectivity.
Celebrated between the April 23 and May 2 At the National Exhibition and Convention Center, the show has brought together nearly 1.000 brands from 26 countries, in an edition where electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and smart mobility have captured all the attention.
BYD expands its catalog with five new models

The catalogue is completed by: Seal 06 EV, a 100% electric mid-size sedan with remarkable acceleration and sporty design; Seal 06 DM-i, its plug-in hybrid version aimed at family use; and the new Denza Z9 GT, another premium brand from the BYD group.
Leapmotor bets on the B10 as its global model
The company Leap motor has focused its presentation on the B10, an extended-range electric compact SUV that is positioned as its first global venture. Developed on the LEAP 3.5 platform, the vehicle comes equipped with Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus, Qualcomm 8155 chip, and innovative technology Cell-to-Chassis (CTC 2.0)This combination allows for better structural integration, more interior space, and high load efficiency.
The chassis has been developed in collaboration with Stellantis, providing improvements in maneuverability and safety. The success of the B10 is evident: in the first hour of pre-sale in China alone, more than 10.000 reservations.
MG launches its Cyber range and strengthens its technological focus
The historic British brand MG, now under the control of the Chinese giant SAIC, has introduced three models in Shanghai aimed at redefining its identity: the Cyber X Concept, the Cyberster MY 2026 and the special edition Cyberster Black 101st Anniversary.
El Cyber X, created by designer Joseph Kaban (ex Bugatti), proposes a vision of an urban SUV with aesthetics inspired by nature and a philosophy that moves away from the sporty to embrace the leisure and urban adventure. The Cyberster 2026, on the other hand, updates the successful electric roadster with new colors, aerodynamic improvements and exclusive versions.

Exeed unveils its Tianji: a luxury SUV concept
The Exeed brand has presented the Tianji, a large, six-seat concept SUV with a focus on leisure. Its exterior design features minimalist lines with LED lights running across its entire width and aerodynamic details. The interior features a wraparound dashboard with a panoramic screen and zero gravity seats, offering a luxurious and futuristic vision.
This concept is part of Exeed's strategy to launch two new models a year over the next few years, strengthening its position within the premium segment.
Volkswagen strengthens its commitment to autonomous driving
