MG Motor Spain has taken a key step toward consolidating its presence in the domestic market by launching a modern logistics center dedicated to the management and distribution of spare parts. This new infrastructure seeks to address the brand's ongoing problems with delayed delivery of parts, an issue that had caused some discomfort among users and authorized repair shops.

Located in Cabanillas del Campo, Guadalajara, the new warehouse occupies an area of Sqm 10.000 and represents a firm commitment to efficient after-sales service. With this initiative, the brand aims to meet the growing demand of its network of nearly 100 dealerships in Spain, reflecting the growth MG has experienced.

A qualitative leap in spare parts logistics

With the objective of minimize waiting times, MG has implemented a commitment to deliver spare parts within 24 hours for maintenance parts and those in high demand. This timeframe is intended to meet customer demands and the expectations of the workshop network, many of which had described previous wait times as excessive.

El Cabanillas warehouse will manage more than 1.500 references high-turnover spare parts, while less requested components will continue to arrive from the brand's other logistics centers, located in Amsterdam and Shanghai. Astara Mile, a company with extensive experience in the sector, will be responsible for logistics operations, managing a team of 35 employees dedicated to ensuring smooth supply.

Within the facilities, an advanced system is incorporated automated management system which will allow a constant flow of incoming and outgoing goods. In addition, it offers the possibility of night deliveries for those dealers who require it, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted supply.
