The Kia EV9 will debut, if all goes well, next year 2023...
According to Kia's official press release, from 2023 they plan to launch at least two new BEVs per year. With this plan they want to have a complete range of electric vehicles by 2027, specifically 14 models. The previous plan marked that in 2026 they would have 11 battery-powered models. For it, will launch two SUV's (one dedicated), a strategic model for emerging markets and a utility that will provide access to your portfolio.
The first model that will see the light, in this new offensive, is the EV9. It will arrive, if everything goes according to plan, in 2023 and it will be global. As explained in the press release...
"It's a big SUV with a total length about 5 meters, it has excellent acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in five seconds and a range of approximately 540 kilometers on a full charge. It can also provide a 100km driving range on just a six-minute charge."
