The first time that Volkswagen launched the Tiguan on the market was in 2007, at the dawn of the SUV trend. He came as the little brother of the great Volkswagen Touareg, and immediately knew how to win over customers with characteristics typical of the German brand and the model from which it derives, the Volkswagen Golf. The second generation landed on the markets in 2017, after being presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show the previous year. The Volkswagen Tiguan then takes a step forward, improving each and every one of its features. The long-awaited third generation of the successful SUV arrives in mid-2024 alemán. It introduces numerous changes, from the platform to the design, including a complete and revised mechanical offer with advanced electrified systems.

Thanks to the new generation of 2024, Volkswagen introduces a more varied mechanical offer to the Tiguan range, adapted to the latest generation European regulations. Thanks to that the mechanical portfolio presents diesel, gasoline, MHEV and plug-in hybrid versions. As always, it will be possible to send all the power of the engine to all four wheels through a 4Motion all-wheel drive scheme, which comes as standard in the most powerful units of the house.
