With each generation, the Land Rover Range Rover has maintained its core characteristics while improving in various areas. The previous generation introduced a lightweight platform made entirely of aluminum, and the new generation updates this structure to accommodate different powertrains . As a result, two body styles are available: a standard version and an extended-wheelbase version, the Range Rover LWB.

The dimensions are substantial in both cases. The standard version measures 5,05 meters long, 1,98 meters wide, and 1,87 meters high, while the long-wheelbase (LWB) version is 5,25 meters long . Under the hood of the Range Rover, you'll find a variety of next-generation engines, including a wide range of electrified options. These range from mild hybrid (MHEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions to traditional diesel and gasoline engines . All are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the brand's renowned all-wheel drive.

The engine lineup starts with the D300 MHEV . It features a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine producing 300 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque . Next is the D350 MHEV, also a diesel, with 350 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque . Above these sits the most powerful unit, the P530 gasoline engine, a 4,4-liter BMW V8 that develops 530 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

The main novelty in the powertrain lineup is the more electrified offering with the PHEV versions. They feature a 31,8 kWh net capacity battery with a range of 114 kilometers. The entry-level version is the P460e with 460 horsepower, while above it sits the P550e with 510 horsepower . The most powerful in the family is the Range Rover P615 SV MHEV . Its BMW V8 engine boosts performance to 615 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

The new Land Rover Range Rover is a luxury car, and that should be reflected not only in its price but also in the quality it offers. The interior is crafted from premium materials , with meticulous attention to detail in its manufacturing process, providing occupants with a profound sense of comfort and luxury. Thanks to the generational update in autumn 2021, it introduces significant improvements in equipment, much of it focused on enhancing onboard comfort.

When configuring the Range Rover, Land Rover offers several trim levels: SE, HSE, Autobiography, and SV . Each trim not only increases the standard equipment but also subtly modifies the appearance, which can be further customized to your liking thanks to an extensive detailing program. The entry-level engines are only available in the lower trims, while the more powerful engines are only available in the higher trims.
