The Lancia Voyager is the Italian automaker's largest minivan. It was launched as a Lancia model in 2011 and is considered the replacement for the Phedra minivan, although the latter was sold as the Chrysler Voyager between 2008 and 2011. With the American brand's withdrawal from European markets, the Voyager was rebranded as a Lancia, though it received significant interior upgrades.
At 5,21 meters long, it's one of the largest minivans on the market. Its spacious interior has room for seven passengers in a 2+2+3 configuration, and the trunk offers 510 liters of cargo space with all three rows of seats in use. One of the biggest advantages of this model is its interior modularity. Thanks to the Stow 'n Go seating system , the seats can be folded flat into the floor, creating a completely flat surface for loading bulky items.
In Spain, only a 2.8-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 178 horsepower is offered . This engine is exclusively paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. In other markets, a gasoline alternative is offered with a 3.6-liter V6 engine.
The SsangYong Rodius can be considered a rival to the Voyager in terms of size, although it is worse finished and has less equipment, at the cost of a starting price that is practically 50% lower than the Italian-American model.
