Models ebro
The car brand ebro has its originated in Spain in the 1950s, when it was founded as part of Motor Ibérica SA, which specialized primarily in the manufacture of industrial and agricultural vehicles. Inspired by the Ebro River, a symbol of strength and national roots, the brand gained notoriety thanks to the production of trucks and tractors, many of them licensed by Ford. For several decades, Ebro was a key player in the motorization of the Spanish countryside and in the transport of light goods. However, in the 80s, Motor Ibérica was absorbed by Nissan, which meant the decline of the Ebro brand, which eventually disappeared from the market. Even so, its legacy remained alive in the country's industrial memory as a benchmark national brand.
In 2021, Ebro re-emerges with a new identity focused on sustainable mobility, based in the Zona Franca of Barcelona, a symbolic place for its history. Ebro's rebirth comes hand in hand with an industrial project that aims to recover vehicle production in a plant that had been closed by Nissan. Its first model, a 100% electric pick-up, is the result of a collaboration with QEV Technologies and other companies in the sector. The new Ebro is committed to innovation, electrification, and sustainability as key pillars. Looking to the future, the brand aims to position itself as a European benchmark in electric mobility, producing not only vehicles but also promoting national technological and industrial development. Its plans include expanding its product range and creating local jobs, while promoting cleaner, more efficient, and made-in-Spain mobility.
