For more than a decade, the SUV market has been the most important commercial segment of the industry on European soil. All brands, premium and general, enter the category with at least one unit, Audi He does it with two. The bet is clear, divide styles. At the moment, Audi has not released any update on the Sportback, although it is expected to receive it in 2024 with such important news as the introduction of ECO-labeled MHEV mechanics to the range.
Technical characteristics of the Audi Q3 Sportback
The Audi house is one of the main brands of the Volkswagen Group. The German conglomerate has a large number of elements and technologies that it shares between its brands. Under the body of the Q3 Sportback the MQB architecture is hidden, a platform widely used within the group. It is used by a large number of models, from the Volkswagen Golf al Audi A3, Through the CUPRA Formentor, among others.
As it is a body derived directly from the Audi Q3, the Sportback version also enters the competitive compact SUV segment, the most popular commercial niche in the industry in Europe. That figure can grow to 1.400 liters if the second row of seats is completely folded down.
Mechanical range and gearboxes of the Audi Q3 Sportback

Both models with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The most powerful of the family is RS Q3 Sportback with 2.5 TFSI block that delivers 400 horsepower.
Equipment of the Audi Q3 Sportback
Audi's premium brand status is mainly noticeable when opening its doors. The cabin of the Q3 Sportback offers the best of the house, both in materials, finishes and technology.. Its interior shows good quality, which deepens the feeling of comfort of its passengers. The only drawback is the excessive use of black lacquered moldings.
As is usual in the house, Audi offers a wide range of possibilities for its smallest coupe SUV. The range of equipment is structured on the usual levels of the house. From lowest to highest equipment we find: Advanced, S Line and Black Line Edition. The main differences lie in the number of standard systems, although there are also obvious discrepancies in design and finishes, highlighting the presence of the sports package.
Despite already having a few years of life, Audi has kept the equipment of the Q3 Sportback updated thanks to constant renovations. Thanks to this, it can offer cutting-edge technologies. The Audi Q3 Sportback has not been subjected to EuroNCAP impact tests. The reason for this is that it is based on the Q3 that the German firm launched on the market in 2018. Audi is not a brand used to handling large volumes of cars in stock. Being an expensive brand and very focused on premium, its customers choose to customize the models directly from the factory. This causes a certain shortage of models for sale in the Km 0 channel. Few units that exist have sales prices similar to the official ones., so they do not represent a clear advantage for buyers.

The Audi Q3 Sportback falls into the C-SUV segment. However, due to the lines of its body, it wants to simulate a "tall" coupe. Thanks to this point of originality, its rivals, for now, are not many, but we can count others that are similar. We can name the BMW X2, Mazda CX-30, Mercedes-Benz GLA o Volvo XC40. If we make the leap to other firms, we find the Jaguar E Pace, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Lexus UX o Mini Countryman.

The price range for the new Q3 Sportback is very wide, although none of them can be considered low. The premium character, the equipment and the line make its value high. In the most economical of cases the starting price of the Audi Q3 Sportback is 45.480 euros for the 35 TD variant with Advanced finish. The most expensive unit in the family is the RS Q3 Sportback with a minimum price of 82.040 euros. In no case do prices include specific offers or promotions from the brand.
