BYD continues to launch new models in the European market. Today, the new BYD Seal 6 was officially presented in Spain; a plug-in hybrid vehicle available in sedan and station wagon versions.
This vehicle measures 4,84 meters long in both body styles, making it a family car belonging to the E segment. Its wheelbase is 2,79 meters, while the trunk capacity is 491 liters in the sedan and reaches 500 liters in the Touring version.
Three finishes, two powers and two batteries
The BYD Seal 6 DM-i comes in three trim levels, with two battery sizes and two power outputs. The Boost trim features a 10 kWh battery and a maximum hybrid system output of 184 hp. This option offers the greatest combined range, reaching a homologated 1.505 kilometers for the sedan body style, but in electric mode it can only travel 55 kilometers.
The Comfort Lite and Comfort versions, meanwhile, use a 19 kWh battery. In this case, the combined power output reaches 212 hp, and they can travel up to 105 kilometers in 100% electric mode, thus qualifying for up to €7.000 in subsidies from the Moves III Plan, just like an electric car. All versions also have the DGT's Zero Emissions sticker.

As for pricing, below is a table with the official prices for each of the six versions. The Touring body style has a €1.500 premium over the Sedan version.
